How to find an employers' liability policy

EXPERT TIPS TO HELP WITH YOUR SEARCH
- Check the company name
- Always search for the official name of the company at the time of your employment.
- Use spaces between initials in company names
- As in W D C Construction.
- Search for variations of the company name
- The ELD will suggest possible matches as you type.
- Check the date of exposure/accident
- Using incorrect dates may hide information relevant to your search.
- Add an Employer’s Reference Number (ERN)
- Using an ERN provides the most accurate search results.
- Search for subsidiaries and parent companies
- Use Companies House to find companies associated with the employer.

If the employer is a school they may be insured with the RPA. Public sector schools can join the risk protection arrangement (RPA)
NHS
